MSN messenger crash in Vista!

Kindly assist as this is what i get when Messenger starts up.
a window apears as if i have an offline message, and this message appears.
I am runing Windows Vista , and have tried uninstallig and reinstalling
messenger several times, but no luck.

I ended up right clicking the shortcut for LIVE messenger, and setting it to 32bit XP compatibility and it now works... don't know if it will solve everyones, problem or not, but I had the same issue as stated above.
