Vista - Windows live messenger

hey , just got a new dell , with vista home premium , all updated,,

put wlm beta on it , was working fine at first , now when ever i use or view a webcam it crashes, i thought i might be the beta but i uninstalled , did a registry clean, an got the regular non beta version, stil the same problem , tried compability mode, same thinng, when it crashes it says that it crashed an that windows live communication platform has closed

i have another pc , same stuff insatalled on exp its a gateway an differnct hardware, an it works fine,
