New Windows Live Beta Uninstall?

I just installed the new Beta version, and I'm having some issues with it. I
decided to switch back, but I'm having a very difficult time uninstalling.
When I open the window for uninstall, I can't choose continue unless I
deselect Windows Live Beta. I made sure the program was no longer running,
and so I am at a loss. If anyone can tell me how to get through the
uninstall it would be much appreciated.

Re: New Windows Live Beta Uninstall?

I have a similar problem with the uninstalling; I can't even deselect the
programs because the checkboxes are not accessible; it doesn't work if I
press space to uncheck so the "continue" button to go further stays as
unavailable. I'm totally blind so no way of using the mouse; it has to be
accessible with the keyboard.

Re: New Windows Live Beta Uninstall?

I had the same problem.
Try to install every item first, and then uninstall the whole package.
The second time you can probably uncheck everything & continue the uninstalling!
It worked with me.

Re: New Windows Live Beta Uninstall?

You can remove when you're in software map (control panel). A different window opens & you can check or uncheck the different parts (photo gallery, live mail, family ..., messenger and some other I think). I did not have them all installed. So I did install it all. Rebooted the pc. Went back to software (in control panel) & started deleting procedure again. I unchecked every item and suddenly I was able to proceed the uninstall...

I personally did not like the beta because I couldn't add smileys in my messenger... :-(

I install it, and rebooted my pc. But when I went back to the control panel, clicked on programs and feature, the different parts of the messenger (photogallery, live mail, etc, etc) and also messenger isnt showing within the list.

How can I uninstall the complete version when it doesnt appear in the control panel?

i've done the installation this way..

first i rebooted my pc..
then went straight to control panel..
found "Windows Live Beta (all programs)" and clicked it (uninstall)..
a different window pop up..where all the program list appeared..
unchecked all the programs to uninstall..

notes: the programs list (messenger, gallery, writer, etc) do not appear in control panel..it only appear after you click "Windows Live Beta (all programs)" in the control panel..

hope this helps..
