| Vista Home Premium 32bit | Cannot reinstall messenger Hey all, I couldn't access my shared folders because some usn journal thing was corrupted. I check microsofts website for some suggesstions and it said to delete the usn journal service and then try to uninstall/reinstall the software. I did that and now the program won't reinstall because the usn journal isn't even there, and it said that I need special permission to access those services. Thanks for all your help  Ok scratch what I just typed above, I did a system restore and now I just can't access the folders again (probably because of the journal thingy), how do I fix it?
