Beta launches Live Mail instead of live.com

HI,

Older versions of Mesenger would launch home.live.com for 'Email Inbox'. The
new Beta launches Live Mail.

How do I make it launch the Hotmail website instead?

In case you want to know why: My kids have 'managed accounts' and Live Mail
does not work with such accounts. Grrr.

Try to press the "Stop signing in" button in WLM's options. It might solve
your problem. Worked for me, but I don't need it, I need outlook to open and
have no solution for that so far.

Re: Beta launches Live Mail instead of live.com

Hi there,

Messenger will launch Live Mail by default if installed, if not installed it
will launch Hotmail, this is by design for this release. We will improve on
this for our next release.

Thanks for the feedback!

Re: Beta launches Live Mail instead of live.com

Thank you for the explanation, but the main improvement should be to choose
between Live Mail, Outlook (which I would really appreciate - It's really
missing there - the connection between IM and Outlook) and certainly hotmail.

Hope this helps. Thank you for your answers.

Re: Beta launches Live Mail instead of live.com

Thanks,

I've uninstalled it.

What we're really after is a version of Live Mail that works with managed
accounts!
