| | Re: Windows to Apple Greetings, I'm a bit confused with your message in that, I'm not sure if you're actually trying using Yahoo Messenger yet or not. The integration Yahoo Messenger has with Live Messenger does not support webcams at this time, so you can't do it that way. Also, assuming they're using OS X on their Macbook (as opposed to Windows), the Messenger client that supports OS X, does not support webcams' viewing or receiving (except in corporate networks over Office Communications Server, but that doesn't apply to you). Obviously any problems with Yahoo we can't help out with here, but another solution would be for you to use AIM (http://www.aim.com) and for her to use iChat on her Mac, which are also both compatible webcam-wise. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2008 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "Imoore" <Imoores016@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:OX8DZY7LJHA.5640@xxxxxx Quote: > My granddaughter is in Germany, and uses an Macbook for email and IM.
