    ERROR 81000306

    Hello

I have messenger 08 and XP version 2. I cannot sign in due to error 81000306.

I have tried all the instructions of the guide and also checked that
everything is actually running and it is. The error remains and I cannot sign
    in.

I tried to write to the support, but no way. They say it is because of the
comunication settings, but I choosed all Internet users.

What shall I do???? I need to sing in....

I'm having the exact same problem, same results on Vista Sp1 with Messenger
2009 beta but it gives a different error message (8100030d), I've tried two
other messenger accounts and they both work just fine.
I've tried it on another machine with a different version of Messenger (2008
    - gives same error as Simona gets) and Windows (XP Sp3). I even downloaded
Pidgin and tried it through that, but get a "Reading Error".

    Hi,

The service is down for a variety of accounts; just one the ones that work and try the other
    later.

    Re: ERROR 81000306

Hi, I've got the same issue too.

From the same Windows Vista SP1 client, when I access with one account, It
    let me enter.

When I try to access with another one, It returns me the error 81000306 error.

Even trying Web Messenger, MSN Messenger, iloveim.com, etc...

I suppose the problem is in the service...

Hoping It will be fixed asap...
    My account is butnow@xxxxxx

    RE: ERROR 81000306

I am wondering the same thing myself. I had no problems installing the first
beta of WLM 2009, but as soon as I installed the new beta - I've gotten the
8100030d error when trying to log in. The weirdest thing is, I'm on a Vista
Ultimate x64 machine natively, but when I install the beta from a Virtual PC
VM of Windows XP - I have no problem logging in using WLM 2009. Any
    suggestions?
