| | RE: Catastrophic failure 0x8000FFFF I found a solution to the Catastrophic Failure here: http://www.groovypost.com/howto/geek...c-failure-fix/ Turns out to be a problem when you have a BETA version of Windows Live Suite installed and you try to install a copy of Non Beta Windows Live Suite. groovyPost.com fixed my issue. Uninstall all Live apps in Add-Remove (not all will uninstall); 3. Remove all other Live apps with the Windows Install Cleanup program; 4.
