contact problem

When I make a change in my contacts list in Windows Live Messenger it also
changes in my contact list in Windows Live Mail. Is there a way to change a
setting so that these two don't intertwine with each other? Also I deleted
some contacts in Live Messenger and they were also deleted in Live Mail.

Re: contact problem

Hi Walter -

This is supposed to happen since all of your contacts are stored in the same
place. The idea is that changes you make in one place replicate to other
applications as well so you don't have to make the changes multiple times.

Right now there isn't any way to turn this off.

Thanks,
Brian

Re: contact problem

Thanks Brian, I worked around it by entering a nickname.
