| | WLM9 Beta: Contact Card popup of-place if windows is in second mon If the conversation window is on the second monitor (in a dual monitor configuration), overing the mouse on the display picture, it shows the options to "View Contact Card", "View Profile", etc in the middle of the window instead of on top of the display picture. |

| | Re: WLM9 Beta: Contact Card popup of-place if windows is in second mon Greetings, Would you mind making a full screen (both screens) screenshot with where the window is? I've tried to duplicate this here, but it pops up where I would expect it to. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2008 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "ups" <ups@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:0B58A924-152C-452E-9E26-AD875E4791AB@xxxxxx Quote: > If the conversation window is on the second monitor (in a dual monitor > configuration), overing the mouse on the display picture, it shows the > options to "View Contact Card", "View Profile", etc in the middle of the > window instead of on top of the display picture. > > |

| | Re: WLM9 Beta: Contact Card popup of-place if windows is in second Please, check my print screen at http://ups.uptodatedesign.net/files/msn_prints.jpg So far, I was unable to not-replicate. When I move the conversation windows to the first screen (larger on the left) the popup appears correctly. The problem only appears when the window is on the second monitor. | | Re: WLM9 Beta: Contact Card popup of-place if windows is in second Hi, Thanks. I noticed that your one screen was smaller (I have the same res on both screens), so I duplicated that. Additionally I turned off Vista glass so that is was more "XP mode". Still no repro. So I suspect it's either something exclusive to XP or it's Ultramon messing it up (which I don't have installed). -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2008 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "ups" <ups@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:B6C515F7-5B46-4EC6-8126-79190089640C@xxxxxx Quote: > Please, check my print screen at > > http://ups.uptodatedesign.net/files/msn_prints.jpg > > So far, I was unable to not-replicate. | | Re: WLM9 Beta: Contact Card popup of-place if windows is in second I had to format my computer and with a new XP (and ultramon) the problem has gone away. I cannot reproduce it anymore now.
