Cinsistent error message

When I try to read junk messages or review deleted messages, I always get the
following:

We can't connect to Windows Live Hotmail right now. Please try again later.

I know this can't be off all the time. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Oops! Should be "Consistent."

Re: Cinsistent error message

Greetings Larc,

Just to clarify, this is from the website (as opposed to the Windows Live Mail application)?
If so, might be worth trying another browser to just better isolate the problem (like Google
Chrome for instance).

Thanks, Jonathan. I was going into Hotmail via Live Messenger. When I try with
IE, I get a notice there's a page error. Firefox gets me nothing but a blank
page with "Done" noted in the taskbar.

I can get and read messages going in through Messenger, but I can't access
messages shown in "Junk" or "Deleted." I think there's a message in "Junk" now
that I've been expecting and need to reply to.

Correction: I can get new message headers, but CAN'T read new messages.

Problem solved! I went through turning off various things that I thought could
be affecting the Hotmail connection. Nothing made any difference until I turned
off an old, outdated ad filtering program I keep mainly for cookie management:
AdSubtract. As soon as I turned that off, connection to Hotmail was no problem.

Re: Consistent error message

Hi Larc,

Interesting, must've been blocking something critical for Hotmail's javascript code to work
properly.
