Vista - Please help

i have just removed wlm 9 beta due to the fact tht i dnt lyk it as it dint have an add of plus for all the name colour etc

now i have gon to dwnld the wlm 8 n dwnlded the WLinstaller.exe

and as i opened the file and chose to install wlm

it came up with this

There was a problem with this installation.
Windows Live suite was not installed.

code : 0x8000ffff

what do i do, i really want wlm as its a big part of my life and a huge use of comunication and leasure time for me

help would be very much appreciated soon as possible
