Greetings Eby,
What exactly happens when you start IE? As a quick fix though, you may just want to use
System Restore to restore your computer back before you installed Windows Live Messenger
2009. To do so if using XP, click Start, then Help & Support, and then 'Undo changes to my
computer using System Restore'. If using Vista, click Start, type System Restore and click
System Restore when it pops up.
