Hello Cllada,

Try removing all Windows Live Messenger versions from your computer.
Restart, then try to install the latest Messenger. You can download it
at http://get.live.com/messenger .
Removing programs works via the Control Panel - click "Software" therein
(Windows XP) or "Uninstall program" (Windows Vista).

Re: windows iive messenger keeps signing out

if this re-install is done (after un-inst) will you need to re-add all your
addresses?

Re: windows iive messenger keeps signing out

Hello Richb,

No, your contact list is stored on the Messenger servers, so you can
safely uninstall Messenger and reinstall it without losing your
contacts. However, you might lose your custom emoticons and all
client-side stuff.
