Hi,
tried this for the first time today with WLM Beta (previous versions of
messenger worked fine) and I receive an error - Remote Assistance connection
could not be established because the DNS name of the remote computer could
not be resolved. (Im doing tech support for my daughter and she has WLM Beta
as well.) Are there any changes in the Beta version that would cause this
issue. Also when she requests assistance it also sets up a voice call!



Any clues where i should look?

Thanks for that but had the same problem! Couldn't connect - must be a
Microsoft feature. However a bit of further research and I found a product
called Logmein - its free also and it worked first time! So remote
assistance and Mesh developers should take a look a leaf out of the LOGMEIN
book.
