Vista Tutorial - live messenger 2009 bug report

hey!

i wanna share some bugs, that i found after 2 days of massive using of wlm
2009 m2. some of them are annoying, but a few of them is just small ones.

the most annoying, when i put custom background from a jpg, the text is
almost inreadable. there's some issue with the layer, because the white box,
that incorporate messages is over at the text, so the text is kinda blurred.
(there's no such problem with dynamic backgrounds; if you cannot reproduce
it, i can send a screenshot)

the others:
- i can't copy the personal messages
- can't declare, if i drag&drop picture in the window, it'll part of the new
photo sharing. also i cannot magnify the picture, to see better, or save it.
- one of my buddy's personal message was: 14, only the numbers, in the chat
window, it's appear properly, but in the main window, it seems like he's
listening something, without artist and title. he's using wlm 8.5.
- custom emoticons usually don't appear, when i'm typing, but my partners
see all of them
- the skydrive's link is broken. it refers to live-int.com domain. neither
in ie7, nor in opera won't open. if i remove '-int' from the domain, it works
perfectly fine. (only tested in ie7; suggestion: maybe you can integrate the
skydrive more in wlm 2009, or windows, but the the activex drag&drop ui
pretty useful)
- if the contact display name is wider than the main window, i can't see
his/her personal message, because the new separated rollover "pop-up" texts.
but i like the fact, that i only see the personal message if i'm over it.

i think, that's all until now.
i like the new design, it's integrate more seemless in vista's aero. and i
feel faster, than 8.5. and until now, it's very stable.

Hi Adam,

I do believe all of what you've written here is known and "should" (I personally have no way
of knowing, but I hope so) be addressed in the next release.
