Windows messenger

Trying to figure out why keep getting error 80070005. Installed messenger
couple weeks ago but as yet haven't been able to log in on it. Did the Zone
Alarm check to allow, am on Vista OS, running on DSL just can't get this to
go.
Any ideas? Thanks

Re: Windows messenger

Greetings,

This is a permissions problem, unfortunately it's difficult to say where the problem is just
here on the newsgroup. As a possible workaround for the moment, you might try just making a
new account in Windows (not Messenger, the Vista itself) and then either using logging into
that account for Messenger or using your existing account, open an elevated command prompt
(right click a command prompt icon, choose Run as administrator) type:
runas /user:USERNAME "%programfiles%\windows live\messenger\msnmsgr.exe"
and hit enter.

If you want to try and deal with the problem directly, toss me an e-mail and I'll try to
assist one-on-one.
