| | Sharing Applications Is the "Sharing Folders" feature in Windows Live Messenger the same as the "Sharing an Application" feature (Start Application Sharing > Share > Allow Control) in previous versions of MSN Messenger? It does not seem to have the same functionality. If not, how do I share an application in Windows Live Messenger? |

| | RE: Sharing Applications This is continuation of my previous post. I read somewhere that "Live Messenger 8.1 does NOT have Application Sharing on Vista Mach". I have Windows Vista Enterprise & Windows Live Messenger version 2008 (Build 8.5.1302.1018). Is my problem related to this? | | Re: Sharing Applications Greetings, Sharing Folders is for sharing files. The feature you're thinking of is not available on Vista. The replacement is Office SharedView, which is a free application you can get from www.sharedview.com. Unfortunately it has no Messenger integration but you can copy/paste the invitation links to a Messenger conversation window and send them that way. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2008 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "Renuka" <Renuka@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:548D0E36-BB41-433E-A2EA-D0EBC6F0C5E9@xxxxxx Quote: > This is continuation of my previous post. > I read somewhere that "Live Messenger 8.1 does NOT have Application Sharing > on Vista Mach".
