| | Game loding problem We have two computers both running windows XP Home SP3 with IE 7 and fully updated. Number 1 is running Norton anti virus and firewall and windows defender and Number 2 avast antivirus, windows firewall and windows defender. On Number 1 when signed into windows live messenger we can invite or accept games from any of our signed in contacts and the games will load and play. On Number 2 we can both send and accept invites to play a game but the game starts to load and then just sticks with the circulating connecting logo showing and goes no further. All the text indications on that machine and our contacts' machines say that the offers to play and acceptances have been actioned and if the invitation is sent from our machine the game loads successfully on our contacts' machines. It would appear that some setting on our Number 2 machine is preventing it successfully completing the connection to the server providing the game. Anyone have any ideas what this might be or any other possible cause of this problem. Graham. |

| | RE: Game loding problem Hi Graham, I am having the same issue. When I send a game invite to a buddy it most often doesn't appear in their window. If they send me an invite I get it, but, like you said it just continues to circulate in a loading screen. It appears that my machine isn't communicating with the game. All I can figure is there is a setting off somewhere. I have restored back to earlier dates to try and undo any setting that may have changed it but was unsuccessful. Any solutions from someone who knows how to fix this would be appreciated. Thank you. "graham" wrote: Quote: > We have two computers both running windows XP Home SP3 with IE 7 and fully > updated.
