You have been misinformed. I have had all versions of Live Messenger
working on Vista Ultimate x64 and Enterprise x64. Just as with most other
32 bit applications, Live Messenger will install and work just fine on a 64
bit OS.

Why then is it when I try to connect I just get error code 81000306?
I have followed various fixes, deleted conntacts, tried the new Beta
version. Always the same error.
I have Vista Ultimate 64bit installed.
