| | Bug report When choosing a background for the conversation window, the background does not set for the entire window, only for the back of the text area. Also, you should be able to set your own picture header and colour for your contact's window. One last thing : it seems that when I add a picture for the heading on my main contact window, the picture quality instantly becomes horrible. As well, the picture above my contact's window is very low quality as well. |

| | Re: Bug report Greetings Dave, I really suspect the new background behavior is "by design". I don't know for sure of course. I admit it looks rather dodgy now. The scenes (header) are 640x320. Once the window goes beyond that 320 width, it starts to look not so great. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2008 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "Dave" <Dave@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:BF0B11D8-4947-4CA5-B3FD-8E61DCA00D00@xxxxxx Quote: > When choosing a background for the conversation window, the background does > not set for the entire window, only for the back of the text area. | | Re: Bug report I'm not quite sure I understand. Usually the larger the picture, the better. But you're saying that if it gets bigger than that size it drops in quality? But also, the default pictures included aren't the greatest of quality either. I'm not sure if it's just my system or if it's a flaw going to be fixed before final or what it is. | | Re: Bug report Hi, No matter what image you use it will be resized to that 640x320 and so are the built in scenes. When the conversation window width goes larger than that 640 image width (I accidently said 320 in my earlier post, I apologize), Messenger will scale it and it will become pixelated. It's not you, this is just how it works right now. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2008 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "Dave" <Dave@xxxxxx> wrote in message news 9673728-CBE3-478F-9003-5977416ECC1A@xxxxxxQuote: > I'm not quite sure I understand. | | Re: Bug report Oh right okay I understand now. I wasn't getting what you meant before but I'm alright now. I really hope that it changes so that it's high quality when the window is full size. Also, a fix for the background issue would be great as well.
