New 2009 beta download of Live Messengertoday repeatedly crashes o

I downloaded the new 2009 beta for Windows Live Messenger today. Every time
I start up live messenger, I get an error: "Windows Live Messenger has
encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the
inconvenience." I have rebooted since the installation, and that helped for
a few hours, but the problem has since returned. I obviously cannot reboot
every few hours just to keep Windows Messenger stable.

When I look at the error, I see the following Error signature:

AppName: msnmsgr.exe AppVer: !4.0.8050.1201 AppStamp:493623f7
ModName: uxcore.dll ModVer: 14.0.8050.1202 ModStamp: 49361b1c
fDebug: 0 Offset: 000e1956

And when I view the content of the Error Report:
