| | error 1603 Hi Guys I just talked to a friend and he has windows xp and windows messenger . when he tries to install live messenger or msn messenger , he sayes he gets a error message 1603 . I thought I would ask here befor I try to help him . thanks -- Carl G |

| | Re: error 1603 Greetings Carl, Are you sure that's the only message he's receiving? 1603 is actually a generic error which just means the install didn't succeed, it doesn't actually tell you anything.
