Vista - i can't install windows live the suite fails everytime, help?

please help, every time i try to install the thing it just comes up with an error message saying the windows live suite failed. this is reinstalling and when i did have it installed it logged in and then just stopped working. this is becoming ridiculous, SORT OUT WINDOWS LIVE! Thanks to whoever respondes in advance
system error details: Code: 0x8000ffff
Description: catastrophic failure

i had an similar error while tryin install windows live version 2009.
try to find an other download link via google: "Windows live version 2009"
