| | Live Messenger does not sign in: I have a Dell Dimension 8200 with XP SP2, with DSL connection. I have AVG antivirus free version, Comodo firewall, Spyware Blaster and Hive Cleanup. All of these have run well together and I have had no problems. Lately, I've noticed that Live Messenger does not sign in automatically. Is there something I should do or should I wait for Microsoft to correct the problem? Thanks, Robert |

| | Re: Live Messenger does not sign in: Greetings Robert, There's no known problem here for auto sign-in. When it doesn't sign you in automatically, double-click on the Messenger icon in the notification area and at least see if it tried (it'll be counting down to the next attempt if it did). However once closed I was able to click the Internet Explorer icon and click on the I'm Messenger link to activate the Live Messenger in the notification area. I've run scans and it's found nothing.
