Vista - Label contacts by e-mail?

I am running WLM Version 2009 (Build 14.0.8050.1202) on Vista and I would
like to know whether it is possible to sort my contacts by e-mail (like in
the older WLM versions) instead of First & Last name etc.
I was unable to find a way to do this so I decided to post here either
asking for a solution or as a feature request.

I do apologize if this issue has already been mentioned.

Couldn't agree more - this is a shocking omission. Actually I don't display
by email address but in previous versions it always used to display in
brackets regardless. The fact is, some of my friends CONSTANTLY change their
profile name ie they use it like a status update message (who knows why
somany do it?!) and others have display names that are unrecognisable like
"*&%^Â£*$&Â£" . The scroll over them work around is way to time consuming when
you've got a lots of contacts - I don't want to have to hover over each
contact in a long online list jus to find out who's there!!

Gonna have to have a look around for Version 8 now - anyone know where i
can still get it?!
