Windows Live Messenger Themes

Why when the Messenger main window is put to maximize mode, even on my
relatively low-resolution (1024x768) screen, it looks pixilated to all hell?
Only the default theme looks good in maximize mode and it's not particularly
appealing to me. Any way to fix this, or do we have to wait for Microsoft to
get around to it in 3 years?

Re: Windows Live Messenger Themes

the lower the resolution the more pixilated something appears..

can you send a screenshot? upload it to something like tinypic.com and post
it

I don't have such problems....

what is your color depth?

16 bit or true color?

try setting to true color if its not...

Re: Windows Live Messenger Themes

Greetings,

If you're referring to the scenes at the top, they are resized to 640x320 - so even at that
resolution, they will still be pixelated when larger than that size. There's no smoothing
going on or anything else, probably for performance reasons on older machines.

Re: Windows Live Messenger Themes

How is the resolution when you look at.. let's say photo's?or any other
pictures?
Personally I didn't like any of the themes so I browsed through pictures
I had saved for diffren't desktop backgrounds and used one of them. It worked
out nicely!
