live messenger version 2008 (build 8.5)

recently friends have been complaining that they are receinving messages from
me that direct them to disgusting sites and it is very embarrassing
fortunately they generally don't think the messages are from me

I have noticed that my messenger logs me out saying i have logged in on
another puter even when i'm in the middle of a conversation with a friend

I assume that i have acquired a bug of some description and still have it
despite numerous scans with AVG adawarte and spybot

Has anyone any cure please help

Also, try scanning with Malwarebytes, Pandascan
(http://www.pandasecurity.com/activescan/index/) and the Kaspersky
on-line scanner (http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner).

The rogue emails may be forged to show your name as sender . However,
the Messenger log out symptoms suggest another possibility.

Could someone have obtained your sign-in name and password without your
knowledge (by fair means or foul)? I recommend you change your sign-in
password, just in case a third party is using them without your
knowledge.
