| XP SP3 32bit | Windows Live Messenger 2009 unicodes I think Windows Live Messenger has some downgrade in this. I remembered when I am using Windows Live Messenger 2008 (I just switched to WLM 2009 yesterday), I can type almost all unicodes as well as some Chinese or Thai characters. Now, when I type most of it, it appears like a block. This is an example when I type my name : http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/3738/35234581pn6.jpg Not great eh? Now, what can I do to make it supports most of unicodes? Please help me, thank you. |

| | Re: Windows Live Messenger 2009 unicodes Greetings, Out of curiosity, what input mechanism are you using to type the unicode characters? Are you switching keyboard layouts, typing in the hex codes manually or just copy/pasting? Although hardly proving much, I took the text of Google.co.th and pasted it in a message without any problem here. Does that at least work for you? For reference for your own testing, I'm using the Trebuchet MS font and Vista. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2009 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "ivantoar" <guest@xxxxxx-email.com> wrote in message news:84711c34e6755f4a9e2b34652de53aac@xxxxxx-gateway.com...
