Delete group

How do I delete a group that I no longer need. The group is empty, but I can find no way to delete it. I found a way to delete a category, but not a group.

Messenger: Version 2009 (Build 14.0.8050.1202)
Windows XP SP3

Thanks

Re: Delete group

Greetings,

If you right-click the group in Messenger and choose 'Leave this group', a web page will come up with the leave this group options. On the left-hand navigation of that page is the Delete group option. Note that once you delete the group, it will take a minute or two to disappear in Messenger.

Re: Delete group

Hey. I tried following what u mentioned Jonathan. But everytime I try to delete the group, it tells me im just a visitor although im the one who created the group but decided that I don't want to use it already and therefore clicked cancel on the screen where u are supposed to add members.

RE: Delete group

Hi,

I am also experiencing the same problem.
How can i delete a group that is empty and i no longer want to use it?
When i right click on "Leave group", nothing comes up.
When i hit "Delete" on my keyboard and then click on "Leave group" in the
popup window, i'm getting this message : "You're the only owner of this
group. You need to make someone else an owner before you can leave this
group." And I don't have any option other than Close.

WLM version : 14.0.8064.206
OS : Win XP Pro SP3

Any help on this please?
Thanks.
