| | Multiple sessions of Messenger allowed...but not on Blackberry? I just downloaded the latest version of Live Messenger and noticed that I can be signed on to Messenger in more than one location. This is a great feature but the only reason why I would do this is because I have Messenger installed on my Blackberry (like Office Communicator). I tried to sign into both my PC and Blackberry but I can only sign into one session. I have the latest Messenger installed on my Blackberry. Any Ideas? |

| | Re: Multiple sessions of Messenger allowed...but not on Blackberry? Greetings, The multiple sessions are only available on the new client which utilizes the new version of the protocol that supports this feature. All other clients (as of this date I'm posting this), including but not limited to the Mac client, the Xbox (including NXE) client, the Windows Mobile client, the Blackberry client, Nokia client, etc. etc. etc. do not support this and will log you out from the new logged in client when you sign in. It'll probably be awhile before all these clients are updated. Till then to make use of the multiple presence feature, you need to be signing in from 2009 everywhere. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2009 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "Reiner Schmidt" <reiners10@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:73A9BAA7-B7C0-4A3A-B4E6-DF51F7B07C49@xxxxxx Quote: > I just downloaded the latest version of Live Messenger and noticed that I can be signed on > to Messenger in more than one location.
