| | logging in with non-hotmail-addresses I have problems logging into the messenger with my email-address tileri@xxxxxx. I get the error message «Connection error from Notification-Server: Reading error» in the messenger-client pidgin and similar errors in «aMSN» and sim-im. Although I am able to log into the MSN website with my account and i was able to use the microsoft messenger network with pidgin and that account a few months ago. Developers said it is Microsoft's server's fault. Why can't I login anymore? |

One possibility that comes to mind is that your account may have been banned from the service for some reason. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2009 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "timo" <timo@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:FC734984-160F-4AD7-9065-42D51F7C00C1@xxxxxx Quote: > I have problems logging into the messenger with my email-address > tileri@xxxxxx.
