| | Re: Error when trying to start a video call Greetings Charity, Which version is it that you're using? If it's 2009, you might try uninstalling that and trying 8.5 (2008) instead. To do so, just go to Add or Remove Programs or Programs and Features, find Windows Live Essentials and choose Uninstall/Change to uncheck/remove Messenger. You can then download and run the following MSI (Microsoft Installer) file: http://messenger.jonathankay.com/redir/wlm85.asp Your mother shouldn't have to change anything though. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2009 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "Charity" <Charity@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:E504E1A8-138C-4209-93A2-FC0D91D65E50@xxxxxx Quote: > My mother is accross the US. | | Re: Error when trying to start a video call Thanks! That fixed the problem. I just don't understand why it worked for a couple of days and then quit, but I don't guess it really matters. Thanks! |

| | Re: Error when trying to start a video call Hi Charity, Trust me, I don't understand most of these video bugs with 2009 either. Annoyingly I've not been personally affected so I've been limited to how much I can assist. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2009 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "Charity" <Charity@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:4BBA8440-8780-4A61-88E1-2AA5AD4657CB@xxxxxx Quote: > Thanks!
