Vista - windows live messenger 9

Ok I'm sure that its already been mentioned, but why isnt wlm not fully
customizable like its previous versions,atho you can add your own pics on it
but pink isnt my colour,and the boxes are blue no matter what you do,live
mail is the same.Also why are the sounds too quiet? even with every thing set
to max volume still quiet.

Since they're trying to push user customization (from your contacts), I suspect that's why
this was removed.

As for the sounds, they are purposely quieter. You can get a modified version of the sounds
that are much louder here:
