Bring back Shared Folders

It worked. It took large files. It was simple. My mother could user it. We
were happy.
Skydrive: 50mb filesm uploading in a separate page, file at a time,

Aaarrrgghhh!!!

Back to 8.5 until Shared Folders come back.

Rant over.

Bring back Shared Folders

Thanks for the info.

Just had a play with LiveSync. Definitely more powerful, but still a pain
for a non-tech user.

If it integrated into Messenger so the same Sharing Folder behaviour was
built in then it would be useful, but as it stands it's just too much hassle
to use with non-technical friends and relatives.

Creating special sharing folders then giving permissions. Nope, not
convenient compared to just clicking one toolbar button and dragging files
into it with the Messenger interface you're already working in. Too easy to
accidentally give permissions to others that you shouldn't. With SF the
sharing security was built in due to each user having a unique folder.

So, back to 8.5 for now.
