Vista - web cam wlm 2009

I have downloaded the new wlm2009
the issue is when i open the web cam with someone else the options there
that i see on his window for the size is small and medium only the large size
is not there.

so i uninstalled wlm2009 and re installed the wlm version 2008
and tried the web cam again then i was able to see the three sizes small
medim and large.

any ideas as to why please, or what could be done to solve this issue?? and
could the graphic card , display adapter that i have on my notepad be the
issue in not being compatible with the new WLM2009 ?

if any one could advise me would be grateful.

Hi Allure
From the replies I've received it seems not everyone has the same problem so a fix doesn't look imminent. For now I've done the same as you and switched back to 8.5. I'm also on XP, so not sure if that could be the problem??
I've also been checking Skype and alternatives should this continue to be a problem after I'm eventually forced to upgrade to WLM 2009.
Shame because I like WLM but my eyes can't take the smaller cam pic

hello daemonic... tks for the feed again and for the help... me too my eyes
cant take the small nor the medium size of the web cam and that is why i went
back to wlm 2008 ... it could be the ghraphic card of our pc that is not
Compatible with the new wlm2009 as on my other newer pc when i upgraded to
wlm2009 i didnt have the problem of the size and i had the three of them
small medium large. i really hope for a solution though if anyone out there
could advise us.

Allure
Is your newer PC running XP or Vista?
As I'm running XP and you mentioned that you have XP on the problem computer I was wondering if it was XP specific problem.

I dug out my old XP PC today and put a Logitech Communicate STX on it and completely
duplicated your problem on it. So this may be it.

hi daemonic
on my pc that i am having the pro with wlm2009 sizes its running Xp
but again i have another two pcs that one is running vista and the other is
running Xp and iam not facing any pro with them as with the wlm2009 and the
sizes i have them all small med and large.
