Logged in on other PC while online?

Contact of mine just got the message that she was logged in on other PC
while she herself is online?
Advised her to change her password which she did. She is convinced that no
one knows her password ... so can there be something else be going on or is
it indeed that someone is trying to log in with her name and password?

Re: Logged in on other PC while online?

Hi Menno,

If it's a Windows XP machine, it's probably just Windows Messenger in the background
(msmsgs.exe), which can be easily terminated.

There's other possibilities, like a Messenger worm in the background, but that's less likely.
