Re: smileys & winks

Greetings ems,

By downloads do you mean previously downloaded custom emoticons?

I'm a bit confused as the winks really don't show up as text. If the emoticons are showing
up as text, you can press the Alt key on the keyboard, choose the Tools menu, then Options,
choose the Messages category and make sure both the 'Show emoticons' and 'Show custom
emoticons' are checked. If you've had to select them (which I suspect you will), after
choosing OK to the dialog, close and reopen any conversation windows for the setting to take
effect.

Re: smileys & winks

Thanks for reply but I have already checked that from a suggestion on this
discussion site. I'm totally confused too.

Re: smileys & winks

Hi,

If you could post a screenshot (or just use a free image service or skydrive) of what you're
seeing, that would be helpful. Seeing exactly what's happening may provide more clues.
