| | Help transfering all my settings Hello, I have Windows Live Mail installed in a computer with Windows Vista. I'm trying to move all my settings and messages in Windows Live Mail to another computer with Windows XP. It's really important to me to keep marked messages, read and unread, mail rules, etc., since I keep important business track that way. I'm not being able to do the transfer by moving the entire storage folder and replicating keys in the registry. I used to do that to move my entire Windows Live Mail messages and settings from computers with XP to computers with XP (generally, I used to do that whenever I formated my computer, to keep everything the same way it was), but now from Vista to XP something is not working. Please tell me what can I do. As I said, I need to keep all kind of message marks (read, un read, inspectioned, flaged, answered, forarded, etc) as well as message rules. Thanks in advance. Regards, Paco Zarabozo |

| | Re: Help transfering all my settings Hi Zaraboza, Let me know if you don't get any traction on this over at the Live Mail group. I've moved my Live Mail store from one machine to another several times with success using the method you detail below. Although I've never moved down-level to XP, but with the exception of placing the mail store where XP would expect it, I don't really see why it should be much different. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2009 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "Zarabozo" <Zarabozo@xxxxxx> wrote in message news AD71793-5646-4CB0-882F-1F677E925347@xxxxxxQuote: > Hello, > > I have Windows Live Mail installed in a computer with Windows Vista.
