Re: wndows live messenger

Greetings,

By "kicked" I assume you mean get signed out. Are you a new user did this just start
happening? Any other details would be good to, like if you just upgraded to the latest
version and it started doing this -- that sort of thing.

Re: wndows live messenger

I had a similar problem with 2009 Live Messenger except whenever I signed in I would be signed out straight away.
This might not work for you but it worked instantly for me. I went to: OS_install (C) > Program Files > Windows Live > Messenger

I found 2 Sony Ericsson Theme files in this folder (I tried using one as a dynamic background in the messenger and chat windows) and tried deleting them. Unfortunately Live Messenger restored these files when it started again.

I unisntalled Sony Ericsson Themes Creator, deleted the files again, restarted Messenger and hey presto now fixed!

I'm certainly not saying you should start deleting files willy-nilly but if Messenger has tried to use an incompatible file for a setting in a chat window this may be what is causing it to crash.

As Jonathan requested it would be helpful if you could provide more detailed information about your situation for us to help further
