| | RE: no contacts I have a similar problem. I changed my user ID to a live ID. Then I downloaded Messenger 2009. I can see my contacts inside the window. The problem is that they cannot see me when I'm on line, and I can't see them either. I tried everything. Help !! | | Re: no contacts Hi JC, This is a current problem with the ID changing -- the feature itself is broken. To fix this, just return to the account.live.com site (where you changed it) and change it back to the old ID. After re-signing into Messenger using the old ID, everyone will be back online as per normal. You can change it again when the feature is working again. -- Jonathan Kay Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger MSN Messenger/Windows Messenger MessengerGeek Blog: http://www.messengergeek.com Messenger Resources: http://messenger.jonathankay.com (c) 2009 Jonathan Kay - If redistributing, you must include this signature or citation -- "JC" <JC@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:EA14D972-441B-4E57-89CF-B65770CCAB55@xxxxxx Quote: > I have a similar problem.
