| Vista Home Premium 32 bit | Border around Windows Live Messenger Windows I just installed the newest version of windows live messenger. Version 2009 (Build 14.0.8050.1202). I have vista 32 bit. On the older version of WLM I was able to hide the windows border, but I can't seem to do so in the new version. Is it possible? Screenshot below for clarity. [Image removed] Thanks in advance! | Vista Home Premium 32 bit | Re: Border around Windows Live Messenger Windows Thanks. At least if I know that I can't hide it then it won't bug me, lol. I wonder if it'll be changed at any point, I just think it makes the windows look bulky. The border in the latest version of WLM cannot be hidden. The menu bar can be hidden, but the window frame remains. -steve "Edna Boxe" <spamtrap@xxxxxx> wrote: Quote: > > >"Havenfall" <guest@xxxxxx-email.com> wrote in message >news:a5b85601a7b03e2bf2e7ded39dc2482b@xxxxxx-gateway.com... | | Re: Border around Windows Live Messenger Windows Are you sure or is it dependent on the OS? I have 2 PC, one Vista and the other XP. Both have the latest version of WLM. On the XP machine, there is no border and on the Vista machine there is a border. The menu option to show and hide menu bar has no effect on the border, it just hides/shows the menu bar. I've tried a number of things and can't change either installation. | | Re: Border around Windows Live Messenger Windows As sure as I can be with Messenger 2009 on a variety of PCs that I use. XP, Vista 32 bit, Vista 64 bit, Windows 7 beta 32 bit and 64 bit. In all cases, I cannot remove the window border. I have one machine still running 8.5 on Vista 32 and there is not window border visible when I unselect the "show menu bar" option. -steve "Don Deacon" <ddeacon@xxxxxx> wrote: Quote: >Are you sure or is it dependent on the OS?
