iv tried to instal windows live and it keeps sayin an error has accured first it says 'preparing the installer' then an error box appears n it says 'couldnt instal programs'
'please try installing windows live programs again' and i did and its says the same thing every time i try.
the error code is Error:OnCatalogResult:0x80072ee6

Had this problem myself.after pulling my hair out for two weeks eventualy got
it to install.what I did was ,when the retry window appeared,once again I
minimised it ,then I closed every window that was open,brought the retry
screen back up clicked on retry, and the download box appeared closed the
window behind and just left the download box on the screen.and waited for the
download to complete,then a screen to accept the terms and conditions
appeared,after accepting,it installed,this worked for me,hope it does for you

i have the same problem, but it's not possible to minimize the window, only
to close.

i am using a vista, tried all suggestions from the web... nothing worked.
anyone knows the soltion to this message?
