WLM 2009 not automatically signing into mail like it should

I'm using WLM 2009, and even though i have the option unchecked to "Ask for
my password when I go to Hotmail and other websites that require a Windows
Live ID", it does not automatically sign me in when i click on the "Open your
e-mail inbox" mail icon on the WLM main page. My account is an "@msn.com"
account, not a "@hotmail.com" or "@live.com" account so maybe that's the
problem? Known issue? Any fix?

Greetings,

Is Internet Explorer your default browser? Unless you use IE this feature won't work.

Re: WLM 2009 not automatically signing into mail like it should

Well, it's working right on my 32-bit XP Home SP3 machine with WLM 2009 and
IE8 RC1, but it's not working on my Vista Business 32-bit SP2 beta with WLM
2009 and IE8 RC1. Maybe it's just something having to do with Vista, or the
SP2 beta version of Vista, or the release candidate of IE8 on the Vista
machine.

Re: WLM 2009 not automatically signing into mail like it should

Hi,

You might also need to clear out your cookies on that one machine. It's pretty common for
this to be happen when there's some old cookie lying around.
