Problem Saving Contact List

On Windows XP systems, I am unable to use the Contacts > Save instant
messaging contacts and Import instant messaging contacts options.

I am able to do this just fine on Vista and Windows 7 systems.

Is there a solution to this issue?

Re: Problem Saving Contact List

Greetings,

What happens when you try?

If just nothing happens, download and run the following .reg file:
http://messenger.jonathankay.com/dow...ontactpath.reg

After you've run and therefore imported the registry entry, just try again (no need to
restart Messenger or reboot).

Re: Problem Saving Contact List

Thanks, Jonathan... I'll give this a shot when I get to work in the morning.

And yes, it "thinks" momentarily when I click the options and then it just
gives up.
