Can't Get Rid On Invitation

Whenenver I sign in to my profile I am showing 1 Invitation - but when I
click on it - there isn't an invitation listed anywhere. Unable to make the
Invitation link go away. I'm running Windows Media Center 2005 SP3 with
Internet Explorer 8. Any help would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Mark

Re: Can't Get Rid On Invitation

Greetings Mark,

Is this within Messenger (at the top of the contact list), or on the web site?

Sounds like a bug on the server-side though.

RE: Can't Get Rid On Invitation

I do have the same issue every time I open WLM, the yellow notification is
on top but when I click it takes me to the website too but there is no
invitation.

RE: Can't Get Rid On Invitation

I know this topic is long dead, but to be honest, I can't find the solution
to this problem either so at least this is a start. Anyone here actually even
found a resolution? I have the exact same problem myself...

RE: Can't Get Rid On Invitation

The way I got rid of it was to download
http://www.msgpluslive.net/skins/view/41-Zero-G/

It's a skin that allows you to customize many aspects of WLM and it's
compatible with 2009. But you have to have Messenger Plus! Live to use it.
