How to Disable "Welcome to Windows Live Messenger" Window?

Everytime I start WLM 14.0.8064.206 in Windows7. A Welcome to Windows Live
Messenger windows appears. This is very annoying. How can I disable it?

Note that is not the Windows Live Today Window that appears on the options
menu.

Re: How to Disable "Welcome to Windows Live Messenger" Window?

Same problem here.
I have more than one PC, and each time I log in to messenger on another PC
after only one day away, I get this welcome message.
No, I don't want to change my picture and settings every other day.

Re: How to Disable "Welcome to Windows Live Messenger" Window?

Greetings ups,

I've actually been messing around with this a bit. It does appear to be linked to a date,
but is difficult to really test as you need a correct date to sign into Messenger.

I've been told however (and have observed this), that it will stop bothering you after a few
viewings.
