| vista | Invalid Instant Messaging Address I'm trying to add a Hotmail contact as a Windows Live Contact and I get a comment back that the email address is invalid for Instant Messaging. Is there a list of valid email domains somewhere? I know that Hotmail and Live are okay. thks... |

Also the exact message you're seeing would be helpful to. | vista | Re: Invalid Instant Messaging Address Hi, I have an existing contact in Hotmail. the email address is xxxx.wanadoo.fr. In Windows Live I edit contacts to add them and enter the email address I have as the Instant Messaging Address. It then says: "The contact could not be sent to the server because the instant messaging address is invalid" .... so here I'm stuck. |
