Can't make a pc to pc call. (using WLM) Can someone help?

I tried to make a pc to pc call with a friend using WLM. All we get is

once connected on the left side of screen (the mic button is muted on both
sides)
I went to the help section in WLM to find out what we were doing wrong. All
i find is this...

You can use Windows Live Call to call a contact's phone or computer. When
you try to make a call for the first time, you'll see a Learn More link.
Click this link to go to the Windows Live Call website. Your Windows Live ID
is used for authentication when you sign up for Windows Live Call, so you
don't have to create a new account. You must complete the sign-up process
before you can make a call.)

Where in the heck is this (you'll see a Learn More link. Click this link to
go to the Windows Live Call website.)? We don't get the learn more link. I
can't find the (Windows Live Call website) to complete the (You must complete
the sign-up process before you can make a call.)

What do I do to fix the problem?
All sentences with parentheses is what we need help finding.

Re: Can't make a pc to pc call. (using WLM) Can someone help?

Greetings,

This would be some sort of networking problem. To establish good quality always connectable
voice conversations on Messenger any NAT device (that is, a router) on either you and your
contacts' side should have UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) enabled. You can check your UPnP
status by opening up any Messenger window, pressing the Alt key on the keyboard, choosing the
Tools menu, then Options, and then Connection category. It may take several seconds to scan
your connection and provide the necessary output.

To address your second issue, Windows Live Call is the PC to Telephone service, which you
have to sign up for. This isn't what you want and can be ignored.
