| | WLM 2009 Hotmail Sign in Problem On all previous versions of Messenger, I was able to have Firefox as my default browser and Messenger would still open Hotmail from Internet Explorer. This is how I like it because I want to keep Firefox as my default browser but it's a shared computer, so I end up having to re-sign-in to Hotmail through Firefox anytime someone else has used the computer. Do I have to revert back to the older version of Messenger to regain this capability or is there some way to make WLM 2009 use IE for Hotmail while still retaining Firefox as the default browser? |

| | RE: WLM 2009 Hotmail Sign in Problem The answer to your dilemma is to uninstall WLM 2009, and re-install 2008. I have trawled a lot of forums, and there are no clear-cut answers. My problem was that WLM 2009 uses whatever is your default browser. If that happens to be Firefox, then you will find that the automatic hotmail sign-in does not work - you have to put your passwor din every time. I uninstalled and went back to 2008, and everything is back to norml - it uses IE not Firefox, and Hotmail signs in automatically. Mark.
